We Are The Planting Of The Lord Part 2

In 1 Peter it is talking about Noah’s flood. In 1 Peter 3:20 it says while the ark was being prepared (built) , in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.(21) There is also an antitype which now saves us– baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God) through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Most Christians do not have a good conscience towards God, they are looking at their performance, their failures and their weaknesses and that is the conscience that they have towards God.

Noah through the flood had a good conscience toward God, not the cleansing of the flesh. His flesh wasn’t cleansed but the flood gave him a good conscience toward God. When the flood came God baptized the earth and when the earth came up out of the water all of the unrighteousness was gone. All that was left was Noah and therefore Noah knew he had to be righteous. He says there that it is an antitype. It is a type of baptism.

Roman’s 6:3 says, “Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?” Now there are 3 baptisms that I know of in the New Testament there’s John’s baptism which is baptism in water, there is the baptism of the Holy Ghost which says Jesus will baptize you into the Holy Ghost, but there is a baptism into Christ which is done by the Holy Ghost and this is the new birth, once you accept Jesus the Holy Spirit baptizes you into Christ and you are now in Him and He is now in you. Through this baptism you know you are righteous because He died to sin and because He rose from the dead triumphant over it, so as He is so are you now in this world and that gives you a clear conscience.

If Tonya came to me and asked me a favor and I said, Tonya I wouldn’t give you the time of day you are just a worm get away from me. The next time she needed help she would not want to come to me because she would be intimidated to come to me. What does the scripture say? It says come boldly before throne of grace so that you may find help in time of need. If you don’t  truly know that the blood of Jesus has cleansed you and made you perfect in the eyes of God, then you will never come boldly before the throne. You will come intimidated and you will come in fear, and you will wonder why your prayers don’t get answered? I’m trying to help you and show you why they don’t get answered.

Jesus comes boldly before the throne of God. How many of you know that?  Jesus doesn’t say oh Father here I come, I’m so sorry Father I’m such a worm. He doesn’t come that way. He came before the throne in heaven and sprinkled His blood on the mercy seat of heaven and sit down on the throne. So now come boldly to the throne. Why? Because you are baptized into Him, you are in Him. You should go over to Ephesians and read the first 3 chapters that says you are in Him, in Whom, and your in the beloved, it talks about us being in Him. Then it says over there also that you have been raised together with Him and you have been seated there with Him in the heavenly places. Child of God until you understand that you are in Him, you have been seated with Him and you have been made righteous with Him, until you get that down on the inside of you, you will never be the Christian God wants you to be.
