Romans 8:18-22 says, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” The glory is already in you, if we would just tap into what is already on the inside of us, we would already see a huge change on the outside of us. It’s already in us, but there is coming a time when God is going to reveal it all. That’s why it says, when we see Jesus we shall be like Him.
Verse 19, “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” What is the creation? Everything God created, except the sons of God. Who’s the sons of God? The church. Over in 1 John3:2 it says, “Beloved, now we are the sons of God. The earth and the animal world are eagerly waiting for the revealing of the sons of God. Verse 20, “For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;” The creation didn’t sin, mankind did. However, it was still subjected to the penalty of it by God.
Verse 21, because the creation itself will also be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.” The creation (earth) right now is just like a woman going through birth pains. Why? Because the earth is waiting for the sons of God to be revealed.
In the story of Noah, we find out that the days of man are 120 years, I believe that is a prophetic declaration of Jubilee years (50 times 120 which is 6,000 years). 6,000 years man’s lease is upon this earth, and at the end of 6,000 years the lease comes to an end and everything is going to be reverted back to God. What year are we in from Adam? I don’t know. Israel’s calendar says it is 5,773, but they don’t take into consideration their years in slavery. The Bible says, no man knows the day or the hour, but I will not have you ignorant regarding the seasons.
Things are building in this world like man wouldn’t believe, based upon the word of God. I know that we are coming upon the end of that 120 years of Jubilee and then there is going to be a time of great Tribulation. In Luke, Jesus didn’t finish saying what was written in Isaiah. He read up to the point where He came to proclaim the year of the Lord. Do you know why? If you will read in Isaiah, the next part is the day of the vengeance of the Lord. Before that day occurs, I believe the church is going to leave this world. Some Christians don’t believe that, but regardless of whether we do or don’t, I know in Whom I have believed and I know I will walk through it with Him.
It’s coming, it’s close! It’s not enough that you and I are going. I’m glad your going, Praise God! But the question is, how many people do you come in contact with that may not be going? I want to stir you up, time is short!
