Is God angry? I don’t know if you have ever been in this situation, but for years religion made me think that every time I messed up God would get angry with me and not answer my prayers. But if I would tell him that I was sorry and that I would try to do better next time then he would forgive me and then He would answer my prayers. If you are saying yes that’s right brother, if we do that He will hear us and answer our prayers. Well, let me ask you this, is He answering your prayers? To justify unanswered prayers religion teaches us that sometimes God says no. But the Bible says, “All of the promises of God are yes, and amen” (2 Cor. 1:20), not no and maybe. The Bible also says we must, “come boldly before the throne of grace to find help” (Heb. 4:16) and if we think He is angry with us, we will not come boldly we will come like an unworthy beggar. Notice these words “For as I have sworn that the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, So have I sworn that I would not be angry with you, not rebuke you. For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but my kindness shall not depart from you” (Isa54:9-10). The reason He can say that He would never be angry with us again is because He put on of His anger and judgment on Jesus and put Jesus on the cross.
