I have heard it taught so many times that Andrew took a young child's
"lunch" (5 barley loaves and 2 fish) and brought them to Jesus to feed
I can't imagine a mother sending her little son to
follow a large crowd of people with a "sack lunch." I believe he was a
young man selling bread and fish where large crowds gathered.
Jesus said, "where can we 'buy' bread, that these may eat?" I don't
think Jesus would take food from someone without paying for it. The young
man got paid, the Disciples got a whole basket full back for their
service and all the people were feed with physical food too.
Sometimes people just repeat what others say about the Word of God and
don't really study it for themselves. Don't even take MY word for it.
Read it for yourself and ask the Holy Spirit to show you the truth.
