Accessing God’s Glory Part 2

Christian’s are kings and priest unto God. And He told us in Proverbs 25:2, that it is the glory of a king to search it out. The glory of our identity as kings is revealed as we seek and search out the mysteries that are hidden by God. Your real identity is hidden. That’s why the word of God says, set your mind on things above where your life is hidden in Christ. Once you are born of the Spirit of God you become a New Creation, a royal priesthood and a holy nation, but your identity is hidden.

Here are a few of the mysteries in the word of God: Paul said I proclaim the hidden things which you have not known, over in Mark talks about the secret of the kingdom of God, in Ephesians it talks about the mystery of the gospel, also in Ephesians the mystery of Christ, and we have the mystery of the faith and the mystery of Godliness, and in Corinthians it says the mystery was hidden from the beginning of time. And Deuteronomy 29:29 tells us, the secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us. In other words God has hidden everything as a secret, but it is God that reveals it to us.

Those who are hungry and want things, God will reveal it to them. If you are content to be where you are in life, I promise you can stay there. But, if you are the person that hungers for the things of God and you seek the things of God, then God will reveal those things to you. If not you will be just like the multitudes that Jesus spoke to. That’s not God’s plan. God’s plan is that He reveals your identity as a king and priest unto God. He reveals it as you search it out. Your identity is hidden. It’s the glory of a king to search it and it is the glory of God to hide it.

I have been feasting on Philemons vs 6, “that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.”  Oh what a powerful verse! Do you know why most of the time your faith isn’t effective when you share it? It’s because you have not been acknowledging all of the things that are in you. Well, what’s in me? Well how about the fact that Christ is in you for one thing, how about eternal life is in you, how about God has shed his love abroad in your heart, partaker of the divine nature, how about the fact that you have been made the righteousness of God and God has literally became your righteousness and He indwells you, those are a few things.

As you acknowledge those things. Stop saying stupid things like I am just so rotten. No you are not! Once we are in Christ, we are all one in Christ and we are now new creations. As we acknowledge all of those things in us in Christ the sharing of our faith becomes effective. That’s all I am doing right now is sharing my faith.

We are bi-product of what we listen to and feed upon, because what we feed upon will come out. The Word of God tells us to feed upon the goodness of God. When you feed upon the goodness of God, when you feed upon the revelation of who you are in Christ, when you feed upon all the knowledge, understanding and wisdom of who Christ has made you and what you have become through the new birth, that begins to grow on the inside of you. And when you begin to acknowledge that, then your faith becomes effective.
